The Advanced Technician Facilities is responsible for maintaining critical plant-wide facilities systems to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with stringent quality and safety standards, directly contributing to the continuous uptime of manufacturing processes and the overall reliability of the site's infrastructure.
This position reports to the Facilities Supervisor and is part of the Facilities Team located in O’Callaghan Mills, Co. Clare and will be an on-site role.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

Be responsible for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the Purified Water System, including monitoring parameters, replacing components, performing preventative maintenance, and overseeing the Performance Qualification Maintenance Contract (PQMC) and annual sanitization.
Maintain detailed documentation for all water system activities, manage various other facility water systems (Raw, Well pumps, Multimedia, Water Softener, Wastewater), execute timely completion of Facilities PMs, and prepare for audits, all while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Perform contractor management, complete assigned facility requests, adhere to Quality Control Systems (Change Controls, Deviations, etc.), manage spare parts, conduct safety risk assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

Education: Ordinary Degree (NFQ Level 7) in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation) and 6+ years experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, specifically with complex building infrastructure and manufacturing/production equipment. Also maintaining Purified Water Systems including executing sanitization procedures and validation protocols.
Other essential skill: Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial facility systems, including purified water systems, raw water systems, well pumps, multimedia system, water softener system, wastewater treatment, and compressed air systems.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Implementing continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance operations or spare parts management.
Preparing technical documentation for internal and external audits related to purified water and facilities PMs.
