Funbugs is looking to expand its management team and seeking someone who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a professional team of leaders. The members of the management team work together to plan and organise within the creche, and to effectively manage the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of child care and development, in a safe and nurturing environment.Role and responsibilities include:· Promoting high standards of care & education.· Ensuring that the welfare & needs of each child are met at all times.· Ensuring the setting is providing a child–led environment which engages and challenges children.· Knowledge of NCS and Pobal schemes· Implementing an emergent play-based Aistear Curriculum· Supporting staff in fulfilling their roles & goals.· Developing & maintaining positive relationships with parents & staff.· Ensuring the crèche is adhering to all up to date Health & Safety standards.· Ensuring the crèche is compliant to all Funbugs Childcare policies & procedures.You will be required to have the following skills:A broad knowledge of childcare regulations and experience working with Tulsa and other stakeholders.An understanding of implementing an Aistear based Curriculum.Extensive experience with Early Years Hive and PIP portal.Be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others.Possess strong organisational and administration skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Have an understanding of the financial aspects of running the business.Well-honed Leadership skills.Good Computer Skills.The successful candidate must have· Minimum QQI Level 7 in early childhood education or similar discipline approved by DCDE is essential· A Management Qualification is an advantage.· At least 2 years' experience in a Management or Supervisory role.· Must have an awareness of child protection policies and procedures, in line with Children First, including the ability to analyse sensitive situations and create action plans and strategies where necessary.· Excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with all parents & staff.· Excellent leadership skills.· Strong computer skills.· Some understanding of the financial aspects of running the business.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €21.00 per hourBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
