Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist - Breast Care
This is a dynamic role requiring a skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist with a focus on delivering high-quality care to patients with breast cancer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in the provision of specialist nursing services to patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer, as well as supporting patients with benign breast disease and those at risk of developing breast cancer.
In this role, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs. You will also be involved in education and training of other healthcare staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in breast care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, preferably with experience in breast care, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A postgraduate qualification in oncology nursing or a related field would be an advantage.
You will be expected to maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and service delivery.
