Workshop engineer or a skilled technician who specializes in the hands-on aspects of mechanical and electrical work, often involving diagnostic, repair, and maintenance of equipment within a workshop environment. Must be proficient with tools and diagnostic equipment, possessing strong problem-solving, communication, and team-working skills, with qualifications in a relevant trade being a significant asset.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly, fitting, and testing of components or machinery.
* Diagnose and repair faults in machinery or systems using technical manuals, schematics, or software tools.
* Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of tools and workshop equipment.
* Support product development and prototyping when required.
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) regulations and company quality standards.
