EU Accession Support Project Lead Osborne has an exciting opportunity with our client in Dublin City Centre to lead a significant international initiative supporting EU candidate countries in their accession journeys. This part-time role will suit an experienced and self-driven professional who is comfortable operating at a senior level, managing complex projects, and engaging with international partners. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of tailored training and capacity-building programmes for public servants in selected candidate countries, drawing on Irelands public sector experience. Contract Type: Part-time, Temporary (9-month contract) Salary: €130,000 per annum, pro rata Main Responsibilities: Lead the initial scoping exercise to assess the training needs of public administrations in the three selected countries. This work will be carried out in close collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs and local partners. Design a programme of learning based on the findings of the scoping phase. Training may be delivered in Ireland, online, or in the partner countries, depending on needs and circumstances. Oversee the delivery of training programmes, ensuring high-quality content, effective facilitation, and strong participant engagement. Work closely with internal and external experts as needed to deliver specific elements of the training. Produce regular progress updates and a final report, capturing the outcomes of the project and evaluating its effectiveness. Represent the organisation in interactions with senior domestic and international stakeholders, maintaining the highest professional standards throughout. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A proven track record in the design and delivery of training and capacity-building initiatives, ideally in the public or international sectors. Experience working on international projects or with international audiences, with a strong appreciation of cultural context. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to and engaging with senior-level audiences. The ability to work independently and flexibly, using initiative and sound judgement. A relevant NFQ Level 8 qualification or equivalent in public administration, leadership, education, or a related discipline. Availability to travel internationally, subject to public health guidelines and project requirements.
