Azure Engineer (6-Month Contract) Contract Details Duration: 6 months Location: Dublin 2 (Hybrid work pattern) Day Rate: €500 €550 DOE Working Rights: Must hold EU/Irish passport or valid full-time permit We are seeking an experienced Azure Engineer for a 6-month daily-rate contract with a major international dairy & nutrition organisation based in Ireland. This role sits within a modern infrastructure function, supporting the development and optimisation of a hybrid cloud environment. This position offers a hybrid working pattern based in Dublin 2, with a competitive day rate of €500€550 DOE. Candidates must possess an EU/Irish passport or hold a valid work permit granting full-time working rights in Ireland. Role Overview The successful Azure Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving the organisations Azure infrastructure. You will support hybrid cloud environments and play a key role in the migration of systems from on-premise to Azure. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain Azure services (compute, networking, storage, identity). Support and optimise hybrid on-prem/Azure environments. Lead or assist with migrations from legacy on-prem systems to Azure. Implement governance, security controls, and best practices across the cloud estate. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable Azure solutions. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS). Proven background supporting hybrid cloud environments. Experience migrating workloads and applications into Azure. Solid understanding of Azure AD, networking, monitoring, and automation tools.
