Pharmacist Required in Drogheda, Co. Louth
Cpl Healthcare is partnering with the HSE to seek an experienced Pharmacist for a role in Louth Meath Mental Health Services, based in Drogheda, Co. Louth.
* 35 Hours per week
* Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
* Position available at Basic or Senior Grade depending on candidate's experience
* Located in The Department of Psychiatry, Crosslanes, Drogheda
* This is an exciting opportunity for a supportive and passionate pharmacist to expand their skill set and work in mental health
* The successful candidate will work in the modern Drogheda department supporting patients receiving clozapine treatment in the Louth locality, depot medication, and in-patient supplies to a 43-bed acute hospital
* Collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team is also expected
* The role benefits from support by a Senior Pharmacist and Technician
* This position is suitable for a pharmacist with strong communication skills, able to work independently and ideally possessing hospital experience.

Mental Health Pharmacy Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the care of individuals with mental health conditions in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide pharmaceutical care to patients with mental health conditions
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:
* Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland as a pharmacist
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications or experience in mental health pharmacy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload
