You will be a critical member of the team that will document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for our Data Engineering, Data Science and Business Intelligence teams that will support advanced solutions to improve health outcomes for our members.

Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:
Work with business partners to define and document business and technical requirements for data and analytics projects, this includes the documentation of data flows and data mapping from source systems into our analytic platform.Partner with our Compliance and Privacy team to ensure our dataset have proper member level de-identification that complies with existing customer contracts.Create user stories and acceptance criteria.Attend and participate in Daily Scrum meetings.Participate in Sprint Planning and Sprint Review meetings with the Scrum Team and project stakeholders.Participate and contribute to weekly Data Governance meetings with team leads and project stakeholders.Document data ingestion updates to the wider STARs team on a regular basis.Assist with QA of features once implemented.Support the Scrum Master as part of the Business Strategy function within the team.You will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:
Graduate degree or equivalent qualification or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of relational database conceptsSQL querying experienceExperience with Agile methodology including Agile tools (e.g.
Rally, Jira)Experience with analyzing and documenting requirementsStakeholder management experienceAbility to analyse data, drive to root cause issue, identify trends, problem solve and provide key recommendations based on analysisProficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, Power Point and Share PointPreferred Qualifications of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:
Understanding of HIVE and its components within Big DataExperience with HIPAA and data de-identification methodologiesHealthcare/Pharmacy experienceExposure to Machine Learning models/projectsFluent in English both written and spokenSoft Skills of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:Excellent communication skills
