Technical solutions specialist

Offer description

* Location: Ireland – hybrid remote/office with occasional client travel
* Contract: Full-time, permanent


Role Purpose

Own a portfolio of live customer accounts, coordinating technical change requests, overseeing project delivery and ensuring each client gains maximum value from PSI’s Fusion platform.


Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership

* Act as primary contact for assigned clients.
* Build trusted relationships through regular calls, updates and workshops.

Project & Change Management

* Capture, document and prioritise enhancement requests.
* Work with product and engineering to scope, estimate and schedule releases.
* Track progress in JIRA; keep timelines, risks and scope visible.

Communication & Reporting

* Deliver concise status reports and road-map briefings via email, HubSpot and virtual meetings.
* Run demos, training and UAT sessions; log feedback for continuous improvement.
* Triage escalated problems, analyse logs or data, coordinate fixes and close the loop with clients.

Client Growth & Retention

* Spot upsell or cross-sell opportunities aligned to client goals and share with Sales.

Documentation & Analysis

* Maintain change logs, project plans and CRM notes.
* Produce clear Word briefs and Excel impact analyses to support decisions.


Essential Experience & Skills

* 3–7 years in client-facing roles (client success, account management, project coordination) within a software environment.
* Ability to discuss SaaS architectures, data flows and API basics; quick to learn new platforms.
* Strong planner who can juggle multiple concurrent projects without losing detail.
* Excellent written and spoken English; confident leading client meetings and presenting progress.
* Advanced MS Word (clear proposals, minutes, documentation) and Excel (costings, impact analysis, pivot tables) skills.
* Hands-on familiarity with JIRA (or similar) for task tracking and HubSpot (or other CRM) for client comms.
* Analytical mindset with a track record of resolving technical and business issues.
* Utility or telecom sector exposure.
* Knowledge of no-code/low-code or field-service solutions.
* Project-management certification (Prince2, PMP, Agile).


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
