Job Title: Assessment Specialist
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as an assessment specialist. About Us
Capita Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) provides unbiased, comprehensive assessments for claimants of the Government's disability allowance (Personal Independence Payment). Our functional specialists work closely with the Department for Communities (Df C) to make informed decisions about a person's health and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video or telephone assessments to evaluate how a customer's health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.
* Analyse and interpret clinical information and supporting evidence to create comprehensive reports.
* Develop and maintain strong knowledge of health conditions and disabilities to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
* One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist or paramedic.
* Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other).
* Excellent observational and communication skills.
* Able to work quickly, producing reports in a timely manner and hitting targets.
Benefits:
* Competitive basic salary of £38,500 plus up to 5% training bonus.
* Rising to £39,900 on achievement of remote approved status plus up to 10% bonus.
* On achievement of face-to-face delivery, salary increases to £41,500 plus up to 10% bonus.
