As Community Education Leadyou will oversee the design, delivery and continuous development of impactful learning programmes that support adult leaders. For You: Permanent role Salary €50-55k Hyrid Dublin 24 location The Role: Programme Leadership & Innovation Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of access and further education programmes aligned with strategic goals and learner outcomes. Manage academic calendars, programme reviews, and quality assurance processes. Use learner feedback and performance data to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Enhance flexibility, digital inclusion, and accessibility across all programmes. Learner Engagement & Success Oversee learner recruitment, onboarding, progression, and retention strategies. Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment where adult learners can thrive. Monitor participation and achievement data to inform targeted support initiatives. Team & Tutor Development Recruit, mentor, and support tutors and facilitators to deliver high-quality, learner-focused teaching. Coordinate professional development, reflective practice, and peer learning opportunities. Champion a collaborative, values-driven team culture. Partnerships & Advocacy Build and maintain partnerships with community organisations, networks, and stakeholders. Contribute to funding proposals, programme development, and impact evaluation. Represent the organisation in relevant education and policy forums. Quality, Governance & Reporting Ensure compliance with QQI and internal quality standards. Lead programme budget planning, monitoring, and reporting in collaboration with Finance. Oversee reporting on learner outcomes and programme impact to inform leadership and funders. Requirements: Proven leadership and organisational skills with an empowering approach. Strong understanding of community development, adult education, and social inclusion. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards. Financial and strategic awareness, linking programme outcomes to organisational goals. Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to clarity and impact. Collaborative, reflective, and committed to continuous learning. Experience and Qualifications Relevant third level qualification in a related field such as education, community development, social sciences, or management. Proven experience in leading teams, projects, or programmes to achieve meaningful and measurable outcomes. Desirable: Experience in adult or community education programme delivery. Familiarity with blended and online learning technologies. Skill in curriculum design, editing, and administration. Knowledge of QQI processes and community education governance.
