SEASONAL TEMPORARY DRIVER/OPERATOR, GRADE VI (ROADS WORK PROGRAMME ****)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following positions:
Temporary Driver/Operator, Grade VI
(must hold a Class C Licence and a current Driver Qualification Card (CPC)).
Candidates will be required to hold a current Safe Pass Card and Manual Handling Certificate.
Depending on the number of applications received for the above post, consideration may also be given to candidates who have experience of operating machinery and plant and who hold a current Class C1 Licence
Applicants may be required to work overtime during the season and overtime will be paid at the appropriate rate.
Applicants appointed will be required to carry out any duties assigned as part of the Roads Work Programme which will include driving/operating any vehicle/machines involved and non-driving duties.
Applicants must be able to commence employment, if appointed, from 9th April, **** onwards and contracts offered will be up to 26th August, ****.
The base for these posts will be Clonmel and Nenagh.
Depending on the number of applications received, shortlisting of candidates may be necessary.
