WE ARE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF Facilities Manager (Grade VII) Fixed Term Contract - 3 years 35 hours per week Qualifications & Experience Essential Candidates must, at the closing date for applications, demonstrate: Relevant management experience in facilities, estates, or non-clinical support services within a complex organisation (healthcare desirable). Experience supervising staff and managing operational budgets. Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements (H&S, fire safety, building compliance, waste, environmental standards). Experience in contract/vendor management. Desirable Experience with healthcare-specific sustainability frameworks, decarbonisation planning, or energy reporting. Knowledge of national climate-action strategies (2030/2050 targets), ISO 50001, or public-sector energy-efficiency schemes. Experience within a HSE, public-sector, or regulated healthcare environment. Formal training or certification in facilities management, health & safety, energy management, or related fields.
