Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team providing assistive technology assessment and postural and mobility services to children and adults.
Job Description:
We currently have two vacancies on our Specialized Seating and Assistive Technology Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Grade Occupational Therapist to work as part of a dedicated team providing services to clients with complex needs.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve the functional ability of our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Recognized Occupational Therapist qualification and registration or eligibility for registration with CORU
* At least three years post-qualification clinical experience with a minimum of two years proven experience working with children with disabilities
* Experience working in the areas of specialized seating and assistive technology
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, initiative, teamwork, and time management skills
* Ability to participate in best practice initiatives and service development within the ATSS Department
