As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the financial and contractual aspects of multiple high-value projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure each scheme is delivered efficiently and profitably. You'll provide commercial leadership, manage cost plans and budgets, and support our continued focus on value, innovation, and sustainability. Responsibilities: Manage all commercial and contractual elements of projects from tender stage through to final account. Prepare and review cost plans, valuations, variations, and project forecasts. Lead subcontractor procurement, tender evaluations, and contract administration. Support project delivery teams with accurate cost reporting and financial guidance. Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation. Ensure all work complies with company procedures and relevant legislation. Requirements: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline. 5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within mechanical building services or M&E contracting. Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial management. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills. A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong IT proficiency (Excel, estimating and cost management software).
