My client is an established and growing accountancy practice with a strong reputation for quality, relationships and forward thinking ways of working. They are now looking to hire a newly qualified practice accountant to join their team and take ownership of a varied client portfolio while also playing a key role in developing people, processes and service standards.
This is a hands on role with genuine scope to make an impact. You will work closely with clients, support junior team members and contribute to the ongoing evolution of how the practice operates.
The role
In this position, you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of high quality accounting services across a broad client base.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements in line with current accounting standards
* Preparing and reviewing management accounts for clients
* Preparing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax, VAT and other relevant returns
* Acting as a technical and professional support to junior accountants through training, mentoring and review work
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax, accounting and regulatory requirements and sharing this knowledge within the team
* Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, systems and ways of working to enhance efficiency and client service
Qualifications and experience
* Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
* Previous experience working within an Irish accountancy practice
* Strong working knowledge of Irish tax, accounting standards and compliance requirements
Technical skills
* Experience using practice and cloud accounting systems such as Xero and Bright Accounts Production
* Confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Comfortable working with modern digital tools and CRM systems

Hybrid role: 2WFH 3 in Office and early finish Friday.
Salary: 55K - 65K DOE + Bonus + Pension + Parking onsite
