We are seeking a friendly, experienced, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking the time to engage with customers, build rapport, and develop a strong understanding of a specialised product range.
Salary
Salary starting at €17.00 an hour. Enhanced salary package for applicants with proven experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing a warm, welcoming, and personalised customer experience
* Engaging positively with customers and understanding their needs
* Developing a deep knowledge of our product range in order to confidently advise customers
* Assisting customers with product selection and purchases
* Operating the till and processing payments accurately
* Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
* Restocking and merchandising products thoughtfully and attractively
* Supporting opening and closing duties when required
Essential Requirements
* Previous retail, visual merchandising or customer service experience required
* Fluent English (spoken and written) required
* Must have own transport to and from work
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
* Attention to detail and pride in presentation
* Reliable and punctual
