Oliver James is representing a world-class reinsurance company who are looking to hire a Qualified Life Actuary to join the Systems and Process development team.
As part of this small, high calibre team you will support strategically important projects, all designed to improve processes across the Actuarial function.
You will need to be solution oriented and value problem solving and critical thinking.
This is the perfect role for a technically strong actuary who is looking to be more involved in more strategic decisions and have a real impact on the business.
You should have a good understanding of efficient processes and be able to use your experience to make suggestions for improvements.
Strong IT skills are desirable, especially SQL, but you don't need to be a coding SME.
This is an integral role in the business and supports projects high on the priority list.
You will have great exposure to senior stakeholders.
Experience: Qualified Actuary.
Ideal experience range 5-10 years (more welcome to apply) Strong technical skills Strong IT/Systems skills - ideally SQL Strong problem solving, critical thinking skills.
