The role will involve completing administrational duties in Nuas Mental Health Services and would typically suit candidates with a keen interest in administration, attention to detail and organisation skills. This is an excellent role for an Administrator to begin a career within a mental health setting as full training will be provided to the successful candidate. This will include the following on a day-to-day basis: -To be familiar with and to adhere to all company policies and procedures. ?To report any concerns for the safety of our patients in the LSU to your line manager and or other manager within Nua for appropriate address in-line with company policy. ?Respect patients and their families showing dignity, courtesy, and professionalism at all times. ?Maintain the confidentiality of all information made available to him / her during the course of his / her work. ?Support patients with mental and emotional issues under the supervision of Psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. ?Support Patients in performing their daily activities. ?Provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care. ?When directed to do so take support patients with daily activities such as eating, self-care and care of their immediate environment. ?When directed to do so observe, monitor and record patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight ?Support Patients with therapy and rehabilitation programmes designed to enable patients to work towards their goals for independent living as prescribed by healthcare professionals. ?In line with approved plans support patients in attending ward and community events. ?To be cognisant of and communicate with qualified nursing staff any concerns around presentation or risk concerns ?To support in the overall safe running of the Low Secure Unit. ?To support the nursing and catering staff with mealtimes and food preparation on the ward.
