Responsibilities
The primary objective of this post is to provide care and support through a person‑centred approach which meets the practical, physical and emotional needs of service users with Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism. The Team Lead is part of the on‑floor duty team and will be responsible for coordinating the shift while on duty and for supervising other staff under their direction. The Team Lead will work collaboratively with the MDT in service delivery to residents, report directly to the Person In‑Charge, and may deputise for the Person In‑Charge in their absence.
Qualifications and Benefits
A qualification at Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with Disability modules (or another relevant discipline/qualification)
3 years' experience in a residential, respite or day service setting with people with intellectual disability
