Job Title: CQV Utilities Engineer


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CQV Utilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our utilities systems.

Responsibilities include:

* Ensuring that equipment failures or issues are responded to promptly and appropriately in a cross-functional environment.
* Recording interventions including failure codes.
* Providing guidance and solutions for preventative action where required.
* Executing planned maintenance routines including predictive, preventative and calibration activities.
* Ensuring all Work Orders are completed on time and in a safe and compliant manner and asset management data is captured accurately.
* Providing clear and concise written and verbal handovers to colleagues.
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives & identifying improvements in job plan information and spare parts for planned activities.
* Supporting major equipment overhauls and managing vendors when on site.
* Supporting development of training information, cross-train colleagues.
* Assisting colleagues and other functions with tasks – i.e. set-up, sampling, cleaning validation activities.
* Working in cross-functional teams where Operational Excellence techniques are used to optimize processes.
* Ensuring the site is audit ready at all times, house-keeping standards are always adhered to & training completed on time.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* A minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical related field.
* Extensive experience in a maintenance or relevant engineering role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Experience in a regulated biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, facilities maintenance or FMCG facility is required.
* High level of attention to detail in following procedures and must be flexible and open to change.
* Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving ability and adhere to scheduled timelines.
