Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Senior IT Field Engineer to join our team. This key role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supporting and maintaining hardware, software, and peripherals across a large and diverse environment.
The ideal candidate will possess 7 years of IT experience and have excellent knowledge of PC hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
This position demands strong communication skills, enabling the ability to interact with all levels of staff across the organisation and explain technical issues using non-technical terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Support: Provide exceptional technical support for end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
* Hardware and Software Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of hardware and software systems, performing routine maintenance tasks as needed.
* Ticket Management: Manage and resolve service requests effectively, escalating complex issues to relevant teams when necessary.
* Knowledge Sharing: Document and share knowledge with the team to maintain a high level of technical expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* IT Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in PC hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
* Technical Knowledge: Excellent understanding of Active Directory, SCCM, Enterprise Mobility Management, Citrix EMM, and VOIP.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with all levels of staff.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
