Our multinational medical device client in Galway is offering you, as an accomplished Finance leader, the opportunity to become their Site Financial Controller with previous manufacturing experience not being a requirement. You will further develop your operations finance and executive level business partnering skills and will make a real impact at site and corporate level. Responsibilities As the number one finance leader onsite, you will support the Site Director and corporate HQ in the US as well as leading a talented finance team on site. Responsibilities include: Partner with the Site Director and Corporate HQ in the U.S. to provide financial analysis, reporting and forecasting insights Lead the 5-year strategic budget and annual operations plan (AOP), partnering with cross-functional leaders Harness the financial data available by creating financial models to provide deeper insights to the business Lead, mentor and develop an ambitious finance team by having SMART annual goals and career development frameworks for each team member Review and presentation of monthly reporting packs for the executive team Drive cost saving and productivity enhancement initiatives This multinational medical device manufacturing company has a strong Irish presence with its Galway site being a significant R&D hub for the business with an annual turnover of €20-€25 million. There is a site wide process optimisation focus where you will collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Manager on an ERP upgrade as well as process improvements between Finance, R&D and other areas of the business.
