Summary
As Staff Analog/RF Design Engineer, you will work as a senior member of a cross-functional design team to deliver the next generation of world-leading UWB products from concept to volume production, with applications in Mobile, Automotive, Industrial, IoT, and Consumer sectors.
Responsibilities in Design and Verification
- Produce high-quality Analog/RF systems/sub-systems using industry best practices for design, verification, and testing according to project plans.
- Generate, document, and verify behavioral models of analogue and analogue-mixed-signal blocks (e.g., using VerilogA/AMS, SystemVerilog-RNM, Wreal) and ensure they are optimized and maintained.
- Write verification plans and create automated test benches.
- Design and verify RF/Analog blocks/subsystems (e.g., LNA, PA, VCO, PLL, mixers, bandgaps, LDO, DC-DC, ADC, DAC) up to 20GHz, using industry-standard tools and design flows.
- Collaborate closely with IC Layout Design Engineers to optimize design and layout.
- Ensure designs follow industry best practices, including verification techniques, Design For Test (DFT), isolation, and power optimization.
- Support lab evaluation, characterization, and testing.
Interpersonal Skills
- Interact with engineers across mixed signal, digital, systems, software, and testing teams to ensure product delivery meets or exceeds specifications on time and within budget.
- Be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently on complex tasks.
- Drive continuous productivity improvements through improved methodologies, efficient tool use, and thorough documentation.
- Mentor junior employees and interns.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant industrial experience.
- Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso design environment.
- Extensive experience designing analog/mixed-signal circuits on advanced CMOS nodes (40nm and lower).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience bringing full chip designs to product release is preferred.
- Experience with high-frequency RF designs is desirable.
