Miss Ellie's Preschool is seeking a dedicated and caring AIM Support Worker to join our team. This role is for 15 hours per week during the preschool term.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the inclusion and participation of a child with additional needs within the preschool setting, in line with the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM).
* Work collaboratively with the preschool team to promote each child's well-being, learning, and development.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
* Communicate effectively with staff, parents/guardians, and external professionals as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education.
* Level 6 or higher qualification desirable.
* Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
* Experience supporting children with additional needs is an advantage.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
* The position is subject to Garda Vetting and compliance with all relevant Tusla regulations and Children First guidelines.
* Successful applicants will be required to provide two references.
