Job Overview
The primary function of the Branch Support Advisor is to renew and sell Personal Lines, Farm, and Commercial Business. The role involves assisting Branches to achieve their Renewal and New Business targets while delivering a superior customer care service that produces sales results and enhances the FBD Brand. The primary responsibility is to provide phone support to Sales Offices, and participate in new business campaigns as required.
Job Responsibilities
* Renew and sell Personal Lines, Farm, and Commercial Business.
* Assist Branches to meet renewal and new business targets.
* Provide phone support to Sales Offices.
* Participate in new business campaigns when needed.
Education
* Strong knowledge of FBD products and systems; experience of 3+ years in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
* Qualified to Approved Product Advisor (APA), Approved Product Professional (APP), Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP), or similar accreditation; assistance will be provided to obtain this qualification.
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or relevant third-level qualification.
Experience
* Experience in insurance or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
* Sales or customer service experience in a similar role is a plus.
Competencies
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ambitious, target-driven, energetic, with a positive outlook.
Regulatory Compliance
* Meet regulatory requirements as per the Minimum Competency Code and Fitness and Probity Standards of the Central Bank.
