About the Role:
Our Audit team is growing, and we are seeking an ambitious Audit Assistant Manager to join our dynamic and supportive environment.
In your role, you will be will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients, supervising junior staff, and ensuring high-quality delivery of audit engagements. This role will suit a qualified professional looking to take the next step in their career within a progressive practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage statutory audit engagements from planning through to completion.
* Supervise and review the work of audit seniors and trainees, ensuring compliance with firm policies and audit standards.
* Liaise directly with clients' finance teams and senior management to resolve audit and accounting issues.
* Prepare audit files for review by the Audit Manager or Partner.
* Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
* Assist with the training and development of junior staff, including on-the-job coaching.
* Contribute to business development initiatives and proposals.
* Keep up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards (FRS 102, IFRS, Companies Act 2014, etc.).
* Support the implementation of audit quality initiatives within the practice.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA) with audit training completed in a practice environment.
* Minimum of 3–5 years' audit experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
* Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and Irish GAAP / FRS 102.
* Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
