On behalf of our client, an established and growing Irish business in the water treatment and chemical supply sector, we are recruiting for a Business Services Manager to join their team on a part-time basis.This is a key role within a small, dynamic organisation at an exciting stage of growth. The company is expanding into new markets in the UK and Ireland and is bringing on additional sales staff, creating a need for a highly organised professional to manage core business operations.The role will combine hands-on administration with mid-level operational responsibilities, particularly in logistics, procurement, and order processing. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and taking ownership of essential business processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging day-to-day administrative functions including:Purchase OrdersInvoicingOrder processing (approx orders per week)Coordinating logistics for the delivery and receipt of goods, including full container loadsManaging supplier relationships and sourcing competitive pricingSupporting procurement activities for chemicals and related equipmentLiaising with logistics providers, freight partners, and external service companiesSupporting sales operations with administration and coordination tasksActing as the central point of contact for operational queriesEnsuring smooth and efficient processing of customer and supplier transactionsMaintaining accurate records and supporting general office organisationWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will bring:Strong administrative and organisational skillsConfidence managing order processing and supplier communicationsA proactive, problem-solving mindsetThe ability to work independently and take ownership of key processesExcellent communication and multitasking abilitiesWhile industry experience is not essential, candidates with exposure to manufacturing or operations environments will be at an advantage.Desirable Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar coordination or operations support roleFamiliarity with Sage or similar accounting systemsUnderstanding of basic accounting principlesExperience in a small to medium-sized business environmentBackground in Executive Assistant, office management, or business support rolesRole OverviewThis position suits someone with a good level of professional experience who enjoys being at the centre of business operations.
