Workplace Arrangement: About the role Here at Kerry, we have an excellent opportunity to join our Agribusiness team in Charleville, as General Manager.
You will be responsible for managing and directing business activities to develop and implement effective business strategies and programmes to sustain and grow the business and to ensure maximum efficiency, service and profitability for the business, together with his/her leadership team.
You will also ensure that our current Agribusiness footprint is fit for purpose for the next decade.
Interaction with the 3000 milk suppliers and ensuring that quality and sustainability metrics are achieved is a priority of the role.
Other key responsibilities include quality and performance of the Leadership team, and for ensuring the business has the capabilities, culture and talent pipeline required for successful execution of the business strategy.
You will have responsibility for full Kerry Agribusiness P&L and ensure that the yearly Agribusiness financial budget is achieved.

What you'll be doing Plan, coordinate and direct business operations to ensure the achievement of company revenue goals.
Responsibility for full P&L Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement Implement and educated on sustainability initiatives to ensure we are meeting the future needs of the business, society, regulations and our stakeholders.
Ensure the highest standards of quality are implemented and maintained across the business to ensure that the organization is always leading the way in the marketplace Ensure that safety principles and practices are followed to support a safe environment for employees and customers.
Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time Build a strong talent pipeline through effective talent and succession planning to drive current and future business strategies.
What you can bring to the role Previous site leadership within food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing Solid experience of food safety or pharma safety Excellent health and safety skills and knowledge An understanding of Lean and CI practices, and an understanding of the principles of Lean/delivery within a Lean manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
