Occupational Health Nurse Role
The primary goal of this role is to provide proactive occupational health services that ensure the wellbeing and safety of workers on site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Health & Wellbeing Services:
- Conduct weekly site inductions, including health and safety briefings.
- Manage the Health & Wellbeing Cabin as a confidential and supportive space.
The Occupational Health Nurse will also be responsible for conducting routine health surveillance (e.g., Blood Pressure, BMI, Blood Sugar) in line with HSA guidelines.
2. Strategic Health Promotion:
* - Develop and distribute health communications across site platforms,
* - Lead health promotion campaigns aligned with the HSA's national health calendar,
* - Organise on-site health events, workshops, and awareness days.
3. Clinical & Operational Oversight: Mental Health Leadership: & nbsp; - Respond to critical incidents with immediate support& ; structured follow-up. a scribed medical practitioner will Act as Mental Health First Aider ( MHFA ) Lead, mentoring& ; coordinating the MHFA team.
