Head of Health Consumer Marketing, EMEA (healthcare)

We are hiring a Head of Health Consumer Marketing, EMEA (healthcare) to join our Marketing team in Dublin.

Let's talk about the role:

The Head of Health Consumer Marketing for the EMEA region will oversee the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies to drive health consumer engagement and sales across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Consumer Marketing, this role is pivotal in aligning regional marketing efforts with global objectives to ensure consistent brand messaging and maximize market penetration.

The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Revenue, Digital Marketing, and Customer Service departments, to optimize marketing performance and consumer satisfaction.

In this role you will:

* Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive consumer demand across the EMEA region.
* Build and lead the regional marketing team, setting clear objectives, managing performance, and developing talent to ensure a high-performing marketing function.
* Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and challenges within the EMEA region, adapting strategies as necessary to meet dynamic market demands.
* Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets.

Let's talk about responsibilities:

* Understand health consumer needs across EMEA markets to tailor marketing strategies.
* Lead integrated marketing campaigns using digital, social, PR, and traditional media.
* Partner with Ecommerce teams to develop innovative strategies driving EMEA growth.
* Collaborate with Product and Revenue teams to align offerings with consumer needs and market communication.
* Define and track KPIs, reporting progress to senior management.
* Build relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and industry influencers, to boost brand visibility.
* Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends for compliance and competitive advantage.
* Champion innovation and foster a forward-thinking culture within the organization.
* Support the VP Consumer Marketing on strategic and organizational topics.
* Nurture and develop a high performing team, enabling all team members to reach their potential.

Let's talk about qualifications, skills and experience:

* Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have significantly increased engagement and sales.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data to make informed decisions.
* Exceptional leadership qualities, with a focus on team development and performance management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively negotiating and building partnerships across cultural and organizational boundaries.
* Significant experience of working and leading high-performing teams across multiple geographies and cultures.
* Innovative and change oriented.
* Results and outcome driven.

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in the health sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing diverse teams.
* Leadership experience of managing team members in multiple geographies.
* Fluent in English, ideally with proficiency in at least one additional language relevant to the EMEA region a significant advantage.

Preferred:

* Ability to manage and thrive through ambiguity and complexity.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Adept at partnering, influencing and creating high performance teams.
