The candidate will work on the empirical strand of the project, conducting semi-structured interviews and focus groups with experts and stakeholders to gain qualitative insights into the potential bioethical implications posed by patents over health technologies. The successful candidate will develop deeper understandings of challenges to engaging with these issues under current decision-making systems in Europe.
Responsibilities include conducting expert interviews to identify institutional influences that impact how decision-making actors engage with potential bioethical issues, as well as assisting with focus groups with technology users to deepen our understanding of potential bioethical issues at stake.
