The successful applicant will manage the daily operations at our retail store at the Cliffs of Moher.
This will involve both working independently and with others on the floor.
You will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the shop, delegation and maintenance of task schedules.
Presence will be required on the shop floor to interact with customers directly, you also adopt the duties of a customer service assistant as required.
AdminResponsibilities:
Rostering and Timesheet management
Purchasing, inventory and stock management
Admin paperwork
Cash handling and banking
Social media communication and information
As the first point of contact for your team, good communication skills are necessary.
Skills and responsibilities include:
Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Providing help to employees and customers
Collecting regular datapoints to inform monthly performance review to observe progress, assist staff with progress and discuss improvements that can be made within the shop
Customer service is part of being a manager, including other jobs around the shop.
You will need to be able to:
Welcome and interact with customers in a friendly manner
Use a Point of Sale till and a PDA device to process sales
Stocktake, restock and organise storage
General tidying around the shop
Processing deliveries and managing stock levels
