Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking to add a Senior Client Account Handler (Professional Indemnity) to our team. The successful candidate can be based in any of our office locations in Ireland, and this is a full-time, permanent role.

Your Impact
1. Manage client/prospect relationships and grow your portfolio/existing accounts, providing tailored Professional services Insurance advice & Risk management solutions.
2. Negotiate with insurers to obtain best-in-class coverage & terms for clients that accurately and effectively match client requirements.
3. Successfully handle your workload to service client relationships and ensure placements are completed within proper timeframes.
4. Maintain up-to-date client information.
5. Build strong working relationships, collaborating with other Gallagher teams, and treating others fairly and respectfully.
6. Manage renewals lists within required timelines, adhering to agreed policies and procedures.
7. Obtain renewal information from clients for review and re-broking.
8. Prepare submissions to markets as required.
9. Prepare and issue client renewal terms and all supporting policy documents, debiting premium.
10. Validate insurer's policy documentation for accuracy and timely issue of all policy documentation in hard and soft copy formats.
11. Ensure full disclosure of issues as they arise in line with compliance and legislative requirements, adhering to relevant codes, CPC, AML/TF, F&P, etc.
12. Take personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of client service to maximise client retention.
13. Provide advice to customers on implications of policy wordings e.g., policy conditions and exclusions.
About You
1. Prior experience in an Account Handler / Advisor role in a brokerage/insurance environment.
2. This is an MCC role, and the minimum mandatory requirement is Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP), working towards your MDI qualification.
3. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Professional Indemnity, Cyber & Management Liability market products.
4. Strong knowledge of client market and insurance industry network.
