We are hiring for our client, a leading Low Voltage Switchgear manufacturer based in Dublin.

As part of continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to play a central role in the design and development of innovative electrical systems.

The Role:
• Lead the electrical design of low voltage switchgear systems to industry and client standards
• Develop detailed electrical schematics and layout drawings using EPLAN
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between electrical, mechanical, and project objectives
• Provide input into component selection, system integration and overall functional design
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical reviews, and uphold design best practices
• Ensure project milestones are achieved and technical documentation is kept up to date
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve design challenges across the development cycle
The Person:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience designing low voltage switchgear systems
• Proficient in EPLAN and related design tools
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards and best practices
• Detail-focused with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a dynamic project environment
