Team Purpose
This team is working on existing and new digital products to help transform the customer experience of purchasing life insurance through innovative technology. Collaboration with life insurance clients & colleagues is essential to bring compelling offerings to the market, and this team are at the forefront of that drive.
Role Purpose
A Product Analyst will help build great products by help defining product priorities and technical solutions for our digital services. By soliciting customer needs and pain-points and translating them into technical solutions, they will create growing value in our solutions. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams using agile methodologies, the Product Analyst is a key role in our product management team.
Role Requirements
Accountabilities
* Soliciting customer pain-points through primary and secondary research
* Modelling the users' as-is and to-be experience in the medical underwriting process
* Validating users' needs in partnership with research and design professionals
* Developing compelling epics and stories to direct the work of the engineering and QA teams
* Elaborating individual features with the Product Owner and based on feedback from the agile team
* Leading, together with the tech lead and agile coach, the planning & execution of sprint & relay plans.
* Collaborating closely with the Product Owner to continuously prioritise the products' backlog and keep roadmaps up to date

Essential Requirements
* 3+ years of Business Analysis or Product Analysis experience
* Detail driven approach.
* Experience of working in an agile software development team
* Experience working with Business Analysis software and tools: JIRA, Microsoft Azure DevOps etc.
* Knowledge of AI/machine learning concepts
* Ability to communicate effectively, with a commitment to stakeholder management.
* Work collaboratively across functions, making evidence-based decisions.
* This is a Dublin city based role.
