Job Title: Environmental Health Safety Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Engineer to join our team. As an EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, electrical or process engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a GMP production environment. You will also possess excellent analytical and technical writing skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
In this role, you will conduct risk assessments, support the team in EHS management, and provide direction and advice to site management on national and EU safety legislation. You will also be responsible for providing EHS expertise for change management processes, reviewing and approving equipment and machinery modifications from an EHS perspective.
You will design and implement corporate safety systems, develop and implement site occupational health programs, and lead investigations into EHS incidents and accidents. Additionally, you will participate in pre-start-up safety reviews, internal and external auditing, and site safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct JSAs, risk assessments, and assist in machine safety assessments across all site operations
* Support the team in EHS management and execution of new projects and programs

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree qualification in automation, electrical, or process engineering
* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a GMP production environment
* Excellent analytical and technical writing skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, technical drawings, and procedures
