Team/Role Overview
Citi Services includes Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) and Securities Services. TTS provides an integrated suite of Liquidity, Payments and Trade/Working Capital solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions, public sector organizations and increasingly mid-sized corporate clients. Our Trade Data Product team's remit is to manage the overall data strategy for the Trade business, identify and execute on data-oriented product opportunities, provide analytical solutions and govern the end-to-end handling of data from creation to consumption.
TheData Product Lead for TTS Trade/Working Capital Solutions (TWCS) is a senior position and will be responsible for driving the internal data product strategy for TWCS. The role will report to the TWCS Head of Data and help execute the vision for data product strategy.
What you'll do
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data engineers, data scientists, and the technology team, to build and enhance data products.
* Manage the product development process, including defining project scope, setting timelines, and coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery.
* Perform deeper customer analytics from cohort, churn and funnel all the way to optimize pricing and derive insights from portfolio and financial analysis in the area of Trade Finance.
* Use advanced data analysis techniques to identify market trends, customer needs, and product performance metrics and KPIs.
* Identify the various consumption patterns and own the data marts creation to deliver business insights.
* Establish appropriate measures to monitor and control effectiveness of information gathering and reporting.
* Proactively take ownership of your team's functional activities, and training and be timely in the team's execution.
What we'll need from you
* Bachelor's/University degree; major in Computer Science, Business Analytics or similar preferred.
* 8+ years of related experience, including 5+ years' of hands-on data experience in the financial services industry preferred.
* Data services domain expertise including data architecture, big data, data warehousing, and working with data lakes.
* Coding background in SQL, Python and experience in a business intelligence tool like Tableau.
* Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and background in business analytics.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Asana.
