The role

Our client, a rapidly growing and highly successful e-commerce/ Beauty and Skincare business based in Naas, is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Group Accountant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who is looking to take ownership of the finance function and develop into a Finance Manager or Financial Controller position within the next 2–3 years.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the finance function and the month-end close process. You will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business by providing accurate financial information, commercial insights, and financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Full ownership of the month-end close process
Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Managing the day-to-day finance operations
Cash flow management and forecasting
Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Budgeting and forecasting support
KPI reporting and commercial analysis
Supporting business growth initiatives and process improvements
Acting as the key finance business partner to the General Manager
Ensuring compliance with all financial and statutory requirements
About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
Previous experience within e-commerce, retail, or FMCG
Experience working within a growing SME environment would be highly advantageous
Strong month-end and management accounting experience
Commercially focused with excellent analytical skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
Ambitious and eager to progress into a Finance Manager/Controller role in the coming years
