Our partner, Tool and Gauge in Tubbercurry are seeking a skilled and CNC Milling Machine Operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce various types of moulded parts for a number of different industries. Tool and Gauge specialises in world-class injection mould manufacture, precision engineering, and innovative product design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
* Program, operate, and adjust CNC machines with a focus on precision and quality control.
* Utilise CAM software, preferably Powermill, to prepare and optimise machining
* processes for complex parts.
* Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent quality output.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project
* completion.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in CNC milling operations.
* Proficiency in CAM software, with Powermill experience highly desirable.
* Experience in Injection Mould Tooling.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and independently.
