We are looking for an enthusiastic Trade Sales Assistant to join a busy branch team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, is confident handling sales transactions, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You'll play a key part in the smooth running of the branch by supporting customers, assisting with sales, and helping to maintain high standards across all areas. Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for customers at the trade counter and on the phone Provide advice, product information, and accurate quotations to help customers find the right solutions Process orders and payments, ensuring attention to detail and efficiency Keep customers updated on order status, deliveries, and any changes Proactively promote products, highlight alternatives, and maximise sales opportunities Support the branch with stock, deliveries, and general upkeep when needed Stay informed on product ranges, promotions, and branch targets Follow all health and safety guidelines and contribute to a safe workplace Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a trade or retail setting Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering great service A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to support the wider team Full, clean driver's licence Comfortable using computer systems for sales and administration Benefits: Performance-related bonus scheme Monday to Friday working week, plus Saturday morning (paid at time and a half) Pension scheme with employer contribution Employee Assistance Programme and wellness initiatives Life cover and staff discount scheme Ongoing training, development, and education support Skills: Sales Communication Client Management Benefits: Great Benefits Package
