BER Assessor Job Description
We are seeking a skilled BER Assessor to conduct energy performance assessments of residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site surveys to collect data and assess energy efficiency.
* Analyse building construction details, insulation, heating, ventilation, and renewable systems to identify areas for improvement.
* Calculate energy performance using SEAI-approved software and provide accurate BER certificates and advisory reports to clients.
* Recommend cost-effective measures to improve energy efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and homeowners to communicate findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
* SEAI-registered BER Assessor accreditation (domestic/non-domestic).
* Relevant qualification in engineering, architecture, surveying, or construction.
* Strong knowledge of building construction and energy systems.
* Proficient in IT and BER software tools.
* Full clean driving licence.
About the Role
