Role Responsibilities
* Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for the care, safety, and welfare of the children
* Provide for the holistic needs of the children
* Actively engage children in developmentally appropriate learning activities to facilitate their potential development
* Promote and maintain an organized, clean, safe, well-equipped, and culturally sensitive learning environment
* Observe and record children’s progress
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
* Meet established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice
Required Qualifications
* Sincere and genuine love of children
* Minimum FETAC / QQI Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year’s practical experience in a childcare setting
* First Aid, Manual Handling, and Food Safety training are advantageous
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* A desire to learn and develop throughout your career
Applicants must be willing to provide written references and be Garda Vetted by the company (Police Clearance required if the applicant has lived outside Ireland for more than 6 consecutive months since turning 18). Proof of eligibility to work in the EU must be provided.
