CREGG Recruitment is looking for Assembly Operatives for full-time, long-term work in Ballincollig, Co.
Cork.
Key Responsibilities – Assembly Operative
Machine Operation:
Set up, monitor, adjust, and operate production machinery such as mechanical presses, welders, or packaging equipment.
Assembly:
Assemble product parts using tools and equipment on an assembly line.
Quality Control:
Perform visual checks, take samples, and ensure products meet specifications.
Material Handling:
Load raw materials, label finished products, and pack items for dispatch.
Maintenance:
Conduct basic machine cleaning and preventative checks.
Teamwork:
Work with other operatives, communicate issues, and participate in improvement activities.
Hours of Work
Mon – Fri, 08:*******:30
€16 per hour
Requirements – Assembly Operative
Technical Aptitude:
Ability to understand and operate complex machinery (mechanical or computer-controlled).
Attention to Detail:
Essential for quality checks and precise adjustments.
Problem-Solving:
Capacity to analyze situations and find solutions to production issues.
Teamwork:
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Physical Fitness:
Stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Adaptability:
Willingness to learn new machines and fit into changing environments.
Contract Type
Full time (39 hours per week)
Long term/Permanent
