Hours: 38.5 per week / Full-Time
Day Shifts: Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team in Dromthacker, Ireland. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a positive dining experience.
* Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
* Provide excellent customer service by anticipating and addressing guests' needs throughout their dining experience
* Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas and food preparation zones
* Comply with all health and safety regulations, as well as specific food service guidelines
* Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for various meal services
* Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
* Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
* Stay informed about menu items, daily specials, and any changes in food offerings to provide accurate information to guests
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for food service and customer satisfaction
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and challenges
* Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
* Attention to detail in food presentation and maintaining cleanliness standards
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
* Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Positive attitude and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
