Description
BDO Ireland are looking for an experienced, qualified accountant to join our dynamic Transaction Services team.
Our team works with a diverse range of clients, providing due diligence support across acquisitions and sale processes, while collaborating closely with other specialists across the firm.
Through data driven analysis and strong commercial acumen, we help clients achieve successful transaction outcomes.
We work with ambitious, high growth and entrepreneurially minded businesses, directly advising the owners and management teams who lead them.
You'll be proactive, confident managing their own workload, and comfortable collaborating with colleagues at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
Review and analyse financial and operational information of target companies preparing for a transaction, complemented by participation in management interviews.
Lead and coordinate projects, collaborating with colleagues across other departments in Ireland and internationally to deliver multidisciplinary solutions.
Plan, prepare and review client deliverables including excel databooks, reports, presentations and discussion packs.
Lead presentations and interactions with clients and key stakeholders throughout engagements.
Liaise with legal and other professional advisers to support the successful completion of transactions.
Mentor and support junior team members within the department.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Thorough working knowledge of transaction services or corporate finance activities.
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant professional experience.
Excellent analytical, IT and interpersonal abilities.
Strong commercial awareness and organisational ability.
Confidence in dealing with multiple stakeholders throughout a transaction.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, data analytics tools and PowerPoint.
Ability to multiple tasks and deadlines.
