Job Summary
Little Richards Wood Fired Pizza is expanding our kitchen team as we grow beyond wood-fired pizza. We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Commis Chef to support our chefs with prep and service.
This is an ideal role for someone with at least 1 year of kitchen experience who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist chefs during prep and service
* Perform basic food prep tasks: chopping, portioning, storing, etc.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your prep station
* Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times
* Support the smooth running of the kitchen during busy periods
* Basic knowledge of breakfast service is a plus
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year experience in a professional kitchen
* Good prep skills and a willingness to learn
* Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety procedures
* Ability to work well in a team and take direction
* Organised, clean, and dependable

* Weekend availability required
