Our client is the National Museum in Ireland, currently seeking a Procurement Executive Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. The role provides administrative support to the museum's finance and procurement functions for a 1-year period, during which the department will focus on several major projects.
Your new role
Reporting to the Procurement Officer, the Procurement EO will assist with daily administrative tasks, oversee below-threshold procurement competitions, and advise on procurement processes.
* Prepare and draft notification letters, evaluation sheets, and other procurement documents;
* Assist in preparing above-threshold procurement competitions for publication;
* Serve as a primary contact for minor procurement queries;
* Ensure procurement compliance with procedures and framework agreements;
* Oversee and conduct below-threshold procurement competitions when necessary;
* Review tender response documents, criteria, and escalate issues or seek clarifications;
* Manage electronic filing and data entry for procurement activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Building effective relationships within the management team and finance colleagues is essential. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the development of the Museum and uphold its policies and values.
