Our mission is to empower communities through collaboration and meaningful initiatives that enhance sustainability, promote diversity and inclusion, create jobs, and celebrate our region's uniqueness.We currently have the following vacancy:Role:Care & Repair Programme Project LeaderLocation:Fingal, County DublinContract Type:Full-Time, Permanent subject to fundingSalary:Pobal Grade 2 (commensurate with experience)About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and visionary Care & Repair Programme Project Leader to establish and lead our transition to a Social Enterprise model for the Care & Repair Service. This pivotal position will oversee the strategic growth and transformation of our service from a current part-time operation to a comprehensive full-time social enterprise, designed to help older people live independently and safely in their homes through repairs, maintenance support, and practical assistance. You will be responsible for service planning, financial sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and operational management. This is an entrepreneurial role that requires both social mission alignment and commercial acumen to build a sustainable, revenue-generating service model grounded in community collaboration.Strategic Context – Social Enterprise TransitionOur Care & Repair Service is undergoing a transformation as we transition toward a sustainable social enterprise model. Rather than operating solely through traditional funding streams, we are developing an innovative approach that blends social objectives with business practices to generate revenue and ensure long-term viability. As the Project Leader, you will be instrumental in this transition, undertaking a comprehensive review of our existing part-time service as the foundational starting point. Your role will involve reimagining service delivery, developing new income streams through sponsorship and fundraising, and creating sustainable employment structures. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish the operational, financial, and governance frameworks required for a thriving social enterprise that serves our community whilst remaining financially independent and resilient.Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct a thorough review and evaluation of the current part-time Care & Repair Service.Document existing operations and identify strengths and areas for development.Develop a comprehensive business plan for the social enterprise model, including financial projections and revenue generation strategies.Benchmark the service against similar Social Enterprise Models operating nationally.Move from part-time to full-time service delivery whilst maintaining service quality and participant wellbeing.Establish and execute comprehensive sponsorship and fundraising strategies.Develop funding proposals and grant applications.Secure funding streams for ongoing service delivery.Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders.Design and implement volunteer engagement programmes.Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers with meaningful roles.Manage all aspects of service delivery, including Volunteers, Community Employment (CE) participants and repair people.Function as primary point of contact for service users.Maintain person-centred approach that honours dignity and independence of older people.Develop and maintain relationships with health services, housing authorities, community groups, and social enterprise partners.Take responsibility for financial planning and management of the programme.Provide financial reporting to internal management and external funders.Monitor service quality and gather participant satisfaction feedback.Maintain accurate records and documentation.Contribute to development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures.Integrate the Care & Repair Service into broader organisational strategy.Ensure alignment with Fingal LEADER Partnership's mission and values.Required Qualifications and ExperienceRelevant degree in business administration, social work, community development, non-profit management, or closely related discipline.Equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree.Minimum three years' professional experience in social work, care management, community development, or non-profit/social enterprise settings.Demonstrated experience with startup environments or social enterprise development.Evidence of business planning & financial management.Experience securing grants and cultivating corporate partnerships.Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.Exceptional organisational and project management skills.Excellent communication and people skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.· Familiarity with social enterprise governance structures, including cooperative models, community interest companies, or hybrid organisational forms.· Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post.· Full clean driving licence and means of transport is essential for the position.· Garda clearance (vetting) is mandatory and must be obtained prior to commencing the role.Key Competencies and Personal QualitiesGenuine empathy combined with strong business acumen.Balance social mission with commercial sustainability.Initiative-taking and solution-focused approach.Ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving roles requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation.Strong attention to detail.Adaptability to changing priorities, emerging opportunities, and stakeholder feedback.Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with innovation.Resilience and problem-solving ability.Maintains focus on organisational mission and values.Commitment to fostering inclusive, collaborative approaches.What We OfferExceptional opportunity to lead the establishment of an innovative social enterprise model.Genuine, sustainable impact on vulnerable older people's lives.Comprehensive benefits including flexible working arrangements where appropriate.Autonomy to shape service direction and implement vision for sustainable social enterprise.Application Process:To apply, please submit the following:· A brief cover letter.· A personal statement demonstrating how you meet the above-mentioned requirements for the position (no more than 500 words) which must include relevant experience.· A curriculum vitae summarising your qualifications and relevant experience for the attention of the CEO at · The deadline for submitting completed applications is January 27th @2pm.
