Job Description
AuxiliaGroup Recruitment are currently hiring an Accounting Technician on behalf of our client, an established company within the communications sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in North Dublin. This role will offer a hybrid working model.
Role:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements
* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
* Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff expenses
* Reconcile bank and control accounts regularly
* Support the credit control function and assist with debtor management
* Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings
* Provide support during internal and external audits
* Work closely with the Finance Manager and wider team on ad hoc tasks and projects
Requirements
Requirements:
* 1-2 years’ experience in a similar accounts position
* Relevant qualification or working towards a qualification in Accounting or Finance
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage50 or Xero is an advantage
